【艺术驻留】北京·长沙田汉文化园“国际艺术之家”项目时间

本年度共有三届国际艺术驻留活动，每一届将邀请艺术家在下列日期停留2个月（除非项目需要并证明有理由延长停留时间），请按照日程安排选择申请自己合适的时间段：

——六月（六月至七月）

——八月（八月至九月）

A Schedule For The International Art Residency 2020

For the benefits of the international artists, and a better understanding of Chinese culture, as well as the social context , a guided tour and a seven days orientation will be arranged during the residency :

—Day one, visiting Starlight Film &Television Base, Broadcasting studios.（Beijing） ,

—Day two, Visiting The Forbidden City. （Beijing）

—Day three, visiting 798 Art Zone. （Beijing）

—Day four, From Beijing to Changsha

—Day five, The opening ceremony of Changsha Tian Han Park International art residency.

—Day six, Orientation with the local area, visiting historical sites in Changsha.

—Day seven , and the rest of the residency are mainly doing art works in the Tianhan Park, but in the meantime, there will be projects elsewhere in China when artist are invited to participate in.

【艺术驻留】北京·长沙田汉文化园艺术驻留在北京、长沙两地驻留的日程安排

为了让国际艺术家们更好地了解本项目的背景，了解中国的文化生态，驻留活动将从北京启程，为期一个星期的文化融合阶段将纳入日程安排：

——第一天; 参观星光影视园，体验节目录制（北京）

——第二天：参观北京故宫，（北京）

——第三天：参观中国著名艺术区798艺术区等（北京）

——第四天：;北京至长沙，

——第五天：;长沙艺术驻留项目启动仪式

——第六天：了解参观长沙周边文化特色

——第七天至项目结束：大部分时间在长沙创作，期间在国内其他城市也有部分合作项目参与

About Tian Han Cultural Park - International Art Residency program

Tian Han Cultural Park - International Art Residency is a program established in 2019 by Starlight company and Tian Han Cultural and Tourism, situated in a historical park, a former residency of Tian Han in Changsha, Hunan province, China.

It is designed for artists of all disciplines and especially multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary artists wishing to immerse themselves in their work and/or research and to learn and immerse themselves with Chinese cultural scene. We provide them with the space to explore practices, concepts, new ideas and materials, and to develop a project while receiving feedback and support.

We only require that you should be the creator of the paintings, sculptures, architecture designs，performers, musicians or other art forms which you submit. The selected artists will have the chance to live and work in Tian Han Cultural Park in exchange for leaving some of their art pieces and also would be obliged to participate in a range of activities such as art collaborations, talks, meetings, studio visits and exhibition tours. Participants are also encouraged to propose projects that actively engage with the local art scene.

Located in a beautiful park with history dating back to 1898, artists will be surrounded by history as well as contemporary craftsmen providing inspiration, material knowledge and resources for experimentation and production.

Starlight company especially encourages the artistic experiments with light installations, creative interior designs, and would provide collaborative support to encourage and facilitate ambitious work.

2021年度园区国际艺术驻留项目介绍

“田汉文化公园-国际艺术驻留创作计划”是北京星光艺述文化发展有限公司和田汉文化园旅游公司于2019年成立的项目，位于中国湖南省长沙市田汉故居历史公园内。

这是为所有门类的艺术家，特别是为综合跨界的艺术家设计的，希望他们有机会彼此交流合作。

我们欢迎绘画、雕塑、设计、装置、建筑、景观、表演、音乐、戏剧等等不同门类的艺术家，沉浸在更深入的实践和/创作中。田汉文化园艺术家们将被历史和当代艺术人文环境包围，为创作提供灵感、物质基础和社会平台。星光公司特别鼓励用灯光装置进行艺术实验，并将提供机会，以鼓励艺术家发挥其创造力，为他们提供了展示平台，探索新概念、新想法和材料运用的空间，并进行社会实践，开发新的项目。

入选艺术家将有机会在田汉文化园生活和创作，以留下部分艺术作品，还将参加一系列活动，如艺术灯光产品设计，民宿设计，室内软装，装置艺术，景观设计等等。并通过座谈、工作室参观和演示展览等活动互相交流和借鉴，从而让驻留艺术家们获得完整的个人经验的提升。

EXPECTATION TOWARDS THE ARTISTS

Tian Han Art International Residency ( THAIR ) provides space to explore practices, concepts, new ideas and light materials and to develop a projects, collaboration, and encourages experimentation and use of technology, internet and video/photography documenting.

Participants are responsible to propose talks and workshops, and to engage with the local art scene as well as acting as a local Galleries guide to the visitors. The support, networks and creative environment offered by THAIR encourages professional/artistic development and international contacts.

At the end of the residency, artists are invited to create an exhibition (solo and group exhibitions depending on the nature of the artwork) and present their work through continuous open studios and also donate to Tian Han Art district a minimum of two art pieces created during the residency.

本驻留项目对艺术家的期待

来自世界各国不同领域的艺术家，无论从事纯艺术领域的画家，雕塑家，行为艺术家，装置艺术家，还是音乐，戏剧，乐器，舞蹈等领域的表演艺术家，或者是从事设计，建筑，景观，装潢，灯光设计等门类的工程师都能参与本项目之中，这将是艺术家融合与拓展的机会。

驻留艺术家需要有灵活的创造力，与环境融合、交流、互动的能力，并且具备一定的团队精神。园区提供了探索实践、概念、新想法和材料实践的空间，并开发新的项目、互动合作，鼓励尝试使用互联网科技和视频/摄影等方式展示自己的艺术作品，比如直播，网上交流等等。

参加者有责任进行论坛和工作坊的建立，参与园区的艺术现场，并担任园区画廊的艺术向导。

驻留结束后，邀请艺术家举办一个展览（根据艺术品的性质举办个人和团体展览），通过持续开放的工作室展示艺术家的作品，并向田汉艺术园区捐赠至少两件驻留期间创作的艺术品。同时，艺术家们通过各种社会实践活动，走出工作室，更大限度地发扬艺术的社会能动性，找到艺术与社会的结合点。

Artists participate in social activities and gain more financial support

The residency program is run in conjunction with Tian Han Museum Cultural and Tourism organization & Starlight company, the artists benefit from collaboration with these projects and interaction with a variety of national and international artists.

—Give art lessons and tuitions to the students who are invited to the park.

—Create your art pieces, and display in the exhibition hall to have some potential customers.

—Participate in the designing programs with Starlight company products, good designs will be rewarded.

—For the performing artists, some stable revenue will come from ticket selling.

—For the architecture interior designers, you can make a significant contribution by bringing good ideas with the resort home stay designs.

驻留艺术家如何通过创作和参与获得艺术收入

驻留计划是与田汉博物馆文化旅游部门和星光公司合作进行的，艺术家们从与这些项目的合作以及与国内外艺术家和观众的互动中受益。这些方式包括：

——为来园区研学的学生们提供课程辅导，将按照课时获得部分收入

——在园区进行绘画雕塑创作，在展馆开放展示并且销售

——参与星光公司国内的设计项目，获得可观的设计费用

——表演艺术家可以在园区进行现场表演，获得门票收入

——室内设计和景观建筑项目的艺术家可以通过参与民宿的设计工作获得酬劳

The Residency includes:

— Open Art studio and Gallery space (both inside and outside) where artists can continuously promote and act as artistic guide to the audience

—Artists are provided with large studio space and accommodation in a private double bedroom. The studios can accommodate 6 artists each month wishing to immerse themselves in their work and/or research.

—Three meals a day, wonderful local cuisines with organic food

— Opportunity to propose workshops and talks and site-specific projects in the Tian Han Historical Park.

— Gallery space available for end of residency exhibition.

— Group presentations and critiques.

— Media coverage

Other Services on request:

— Documentation of the work developed.

— Individual consultations with curatorial advice and critique.

— Curating, event & exhibition organization for the final exhibition

艺术驻留项目将提供以下需求：

—开放的艺术工作室和画廊空间（内部和外部），艺术家可以在这里和观众交流。

FACILITIES

Park comprises of some 245，,000 square meters of land including rice fields and beautiful scenery inspiring for photography and outdoor performances. There are many facilities at the disposal and project building for artists including modern theatre (where theatre plays are regularly held), traditional open space theatre buildings where artists can experiment, art studios, galleries, Tian Han historic museum, restaurant and hotel with many facilities, multiple open space buildings appropriate for performance art, outside exhibition and different performances, beautiful and rural landscape surrounding the park that provides inspiration for photography and video production.

Members of Shangyuan Art Scene Committee, their recommendation will be high on our list of priorities.

All applicants should fill in the application form HERE the following information is required:

— A statement outlining your residency project, motivation, what do you expect from the residency and what you hope to achieve (800 word max)

— A statement describing your practice/research and areas of interest (800 word max)

SELECTION

Prospective artists in residence will be selected by THAIR selection committee based on their body of work, CV and proposal. The committee will take into consideration the excellence of the proposal in relation to innovation and artistic experimentation. And the total payment 500 Euro /per person is required after the admission, to balance part of the costs (accommodation, meals, tours etc,) during the residency.
